Is your music sampled at 44.1khz at 16 bits? I had some ripped at 48khz. This was fine with the sb3's analog output but once connected to a shek1 dac I got pops during quiet passages. Derek Shek told me to re-rip at 44.khz because the shek1 doesn't support 48khz. Problem solved. I wonder if your situation is similar. Keith
