If you want to see any improvement from a power supply you should be looking at the Jung super regulators that are designed to provide ultra low impedance throughout the audio band. A 3-terminal LT regulator is a $2 part. $750 for this supply doesn't border on ridiculous, it climbs over the fence, swims across the river, and marries your daughter!
