Hi
i''ve gone thru the following 2 tutorials which I recommend to setup
EAC.
http://chrismyden.com/bestmp3guide.php
and
http://users.pandora.be/satcp/eac-qs-en.htm

In the first one there is a required DLL download link (for Windows NT,
XP users) as well as an optional config file and the latter takes you
thru step by step in configuring EAC options and drive configurations.

Since I want to output to lossless format it seems that the only option
is WAV format which EAC natively supports.
But, much to my surprise, the WAV option in EAC in itself has a variety
of codecs to choose from, some of them lossy.
The 2 that seem to be 'high' quality are
'Microsoft PCM converter' 44.1 kHz/16 Bit.
and
'WindowsMedia' 160 kbps/44 kHz.

My first question is: Which one is 'best' for quality and Slimserver
compatibility?

My second question is are there any DLLs/plugins for EAC that allow
output to other lossless formats, such as Apple Lossless or FLAC?
