DRM has not prevented a single song from making it to P2P, so DRM does not prevent file sharing.
As for CD vs FLAC downloads, there are arguments both ways. A CD has nice graphics and acts as a backup if the ripped tracks are ever lost or damaged. Of course, it is much easier to store 10,000 flac files than 1000 CDs. Downloading, while it may be slower in some cases, is usually quicker and certainly more earth-friendly than driving to the CD store or ordering from Amazon. -- Pale Blue Ego ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pale Blue Ego's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=110 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33813 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
