DRM has not prevented a single song from making it to P2P, so DRM does
not prevent file sharing.

As for CD vs FLAC downloads, there are arguments both ways.  A CD has
nice graphics and acts as a backup if the ripped tracks are ever lost
or damaged.  Of course, it is much easier to store 10,000 flac files
than 1000 CDs.  Downloading, while it may be slower in some cases, is
usually quicker and certainly more earth-friendly than driving to the
CD store or ordering from Amazon.
