I wouldn't exactly treat it as gospel. Consider this track that AccurateRip told me was accurate (using burst mode with test and copy, because secure mode did not satisfy accurateRip): ~~~~~~~~ Track 16 Filename C:\jeff\music\Boards Of Canada-Geogaddi\16-The Devil Is In The Details.wav Timing problem 0:01:21 Timing problem 0:03:07 Peak level 96.8 % Test CRC 42D169D8 Copy CRC 4D7652B1 Copy finished ~~~~~~~~ Perhaps I just got lucky on the copy read? At any rate, I do like accurateRip for pop discs, but good stuff isn't in the database. It's nice to have a backup plan, which for me is 'Copy OK' via secure mode no-c2 with cache disabled, or burst mode using test©. I didn't plan the ironic filename either, btw. -- Skunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34156 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
