This appears to be spot on - thanks very much. There is only one problem. I find when I do this that if the input is say a single sine wave that corresponds exactly to one frequency bucket then it works fine, irrespective of how many sample points I have. Perfect.
But if, e.g., my signal is pink or white noise, then I get the following problem. If I sample 1024 points the FFT has twice the amplitude compared to if I sample 4096 points. I am using the sample frequency. Any thoughts? -- rbl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rbl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4517 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34206 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
