Can easily do both.  Take a look at the bandwidth...huge!  Meant to

Yes, but this depends on the type of RG cable used.  Some have a good
shield, some have no shield, it depends.

Never heard of it used for this purpose.  It's not designed to carry
high currents - the effective gauge is not high enough.

I believe Blue Jeans Cable use RG-6 with their ICs.  You might want to
take a look.
