Thanks for response everyone. Helped put my mind at rest (I haven't understood CPU speeds since newer versions started having slower clocks!).
I'm moving from a 5 year old 1.2Ghz Athlon that runs close to 100% when I use InguzDRC. Just about keeps going, but the SB3 buffer stays at zero for the first 20-30 seconds of each track.
