I have been reading through the threads re: DAC and I'm trying to answer a couple of questions.
The digital output from the squeezbox would be used if you had your own DAC, correct? Otherwise you would use analog output? (and Squeezebox would do the conversion internally)? Also, I have a Acurus L10 preamp, that has a input connector labeled D/A. What I don't have is the owner's manual, so I don't know if that is digital input from a device (a la the above, if that's even right), or if that means input from a DAC. Could anyone hazard a guess? Finally, I would like to put the Squeezebox a good 10 feet from the rest of the equipment. Any recommendations on cableing?
