Hi Anne! Thanks for the kind comments on my design. This is actually, the "Super Squeezebox" and it's not a commercial design. Just a home project for the fun of it!
The SB+, OTOH, is available on the market and a completely different animal. Compared to the stock SB3, my unit has improved soundstaging with better separation of individual instruments and voices. Sound is also much more relaxed with less "bite" and harshness. Resolution is also markedly increased.
