Aren't the M20's already tapped for bolts on their bases? I believe that they were meant to be bolted to the dedicated stands, although the Revel stands would be way to tippy for your situation. So get a pair of speaker stands that are more substantial and can be bottom weighted by filling the bottom 1/3 with lead, drill the top plates to fit the bolt pattern on the M20's. Try looking at the Target or Atlantis stands to see if they'll do, but you may have to get something custom made locally by a metal fabrication shop.
