I strongly recommend the Channel Islands Audio DAC - the VDA-2. I think it sounds fantastic. The sound stage is very good, and the noise floor is excellent. I have been sending 24-bit test files through this DAC, and I can hear tones down to -120 dBFS. It has balanced output capability, but I am not using that.
