Oh no, I agree with you, its just that I couldnt have that much money packed away in a Stax set I hardly use...., so I sold it. The sound is truly state of the art, and I even didnt hear it with my Bryston dac in place in the amp. I played SB3 analog out, and then via Tape Out to the Stax, and I thought the sound was extremely good. Had I tried the Stax with the Bryston dac, which I bought for the money the Stax gave, well, then I would truly have been swept off my feet because the Bryston dac is soooo much better, the tests where right, incredible resolution, astonishing.
