Great stuff guys. Another quick question: has anyone tried the SB+ output stage and volume control as a preamp i.e. straight into a power amp? Can it drive some power amps and not others, or is a preamp or integrated always the better route?
I don't want to make compromises here, so I'm not willing to trade bass or dynamics for transparency etc. I want the best all round sound since I listen to all genres.
