This is a problem unique to countries where the Schuko style main plugs are used for earthed connectins such as in Germany, Sweden and some others where the plug allows for it to be connected two ways. In UK, US, France and many other countries and earthed plug can only be connected one way so as long as your electrical installation is in order, you can not get it wrong. There might also be some language issues with phase vs fas.
