The FM transmitter will sound atrocious, based on my experience with an iPod transmitter. I looked at using wireless stage monitors for use with wired headphones, but they were expensive (>$500 USD) and didn't have that great a specs. In your case, by far the best solution is to buy another wireless SB3! Just park it next to your chair and plug in the headphones.
