First, with Lavry people reported here that sound varies with different
sources. We all also know that it doesn't employ some of his famous
jitter handling methods found in Lavry Blue. Dan Lavry confirmed that
DA10 doesn't eliminate jitter, it just minimizes its impact on sound
quite effectively.

Also, have you noticed there are some other DACs out there? Not all of
them deal with jitter as good as Benchmark, but many have more pleasant
sound signature.

It's simply inane to claim that it's only DAC what bears responsibility
for dealing with jitter. Most of available outboard DACs do that not
well enough - and we have to live with that fact, and try to reduce
jitter on the way to DAC.
