I'm setting up a wired version of squeezebox and will use the digital out. Between PC and SB, any audible differences heard by using:
- Unshielded vs Shielded CAT5? - PVC vs Teflon/FEP insulated cable? My run will be about 50' and involve an outdoor run. Perhaps this nulls out the teflon jacketed cable...anyone know? Finally, on the PC side should the cable plug into the PC or a router for best results or does it not matter?
