Anyway c'mon guys, this is such an easy test to do - you just get someone to check and uncheck the box in settings and you try to guess whether it's FLAC or WAV. Then you get to switch, and he/she gets to guess. Then you have beer. It's clear that decoding FLAC -could- have some effect on the sound, but unless you can show that you can hear it consistently (and I don't mean 6 out of 10), I see no reason to harp on about it.
