Have you tried it? It certainly shouldn't be too slow unless you have the most marginal of connections. Even streaming 16 bit, 44.1 kHz audio as uncompressed WAV requires just 1.4 Mbps of bandwidth. In our small office there are at least 12 wireless networks visible coming from the surrounding offices, but our wireless network works flawlessly.
