I use the digital input from my computer for movie watching. I've experiminted somewhat with MPlayer outputting sound to a PCM stream over a pipe, which could be picked up by the TP. So that's working without digital in, an SB3 could do the trick as well. Problem is, you have no idea where the TP/SB3 really is with the playback, so synchronisation is hard to get right. So that's why -> optical input. Wireless is not an option. too slow, too fragile, too much interference from neighbours, there's about 10 AP's around, visible if I put my PDA up and let it searh for a connection. That's a slight bit more then what I would like. So that's why -> everything hard-wired -- Heimiko Transporter -> XLR -> Electrocompaniet AW100 DMB -> Dynaudio Audience 122 + BK Monolith Analog modded SB3 -> tube buffer -> Trends Audio TA-10 -> Eltax Monitor III ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Heimiko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3462 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38480 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
