Hi My transporter is connected directly to a pair of Meridian 557 power amps via balanced XLR (not in bridged mode to allow bi-amping). I also have a Meridian 500 CD transport connected to the AES/EBU input of the transporter. This used to run through a Meridian 518 and 566 (20bit) DAC but prefer the 500 going straight into the TP. My speakers were Mission Elegante E83s as my system was mainly used for movies (with a Rotel RSP-1098), however I hardly watch movies now and my system is slowly turning more into a 2 channel system. The massive E83s have made way for their smaller borthers the E81s as these sound much more musical. I have my eyes on some B&W 800 series speakers or some Wilson Benesch A.C.Ts next as I think my speakers are throttling the rest of the system.
