Yes, that's EXACTLY what I experienced.  I was doing a lot of browsing
through my music, both in genres and music folder, while the music was
playing, and then all of a sudden, the transporter stopped responding
to the remote.  The knob on the front resisted turning, and the whole
unit seemed VERY sluggish, although the buttons did seem to work,
albeit slowly.  Eventually, it just froze, and shut itself off.  I had
to power down and back up in order to clear it up.  I really don't
think this is a network issue.  I've got full, switched Gigabit
Ethernet throughout the network, and the Slim Server runs on a Dual
Xeon 3.6GHZ server with 12 Gigabytes of memory.  (Yes, the server does
other things, too, but server utilization is very low....)
