I'm somewhat confused. Look at this graph again. Green is MinimumTestConvolution and Red is MeasuredWithEQ. They are almost exactly the same (apart from a 2db shift due to my global gain of -18). Surely, if the TC line is with mic calibration and the measured without, then they should be diverging at low and high freqs?
But at least we can compare Measured with and without EQ to each other as both are without mic compensation. The developers at REW have suggested they will make a mod to allow mic compensation to be applied to imported data: "That's actually intentional, though undocumented, behaviour. Imported impulse responses will have been generated by some other measurement system so it would usually not be appropriate to apply the REW soundcard cal or mic cal to the data being imported, as REW cannot know what calibrations or corrections had been applied when the impulse response was captured. I'll add a feature request to have the option of applying either or both cal files to imported responses." +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: graph_mintc_minm.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3427| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- mortod ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mortod's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4651 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35615 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
