if your hearts set on the benchmark ...go for it but its not a patch on the behringer src2496 at 1/10th the cost...I've listen to both side by side. That was a mk1 I've not heard the usb version so that may be different .....there are a great many dacs at about $250 that would work better ..you just need to compare some in the same system
