thanks Mark, it is easy to change the setting that way, but difficult to get the transporter really running (with an external clock as master). First it did not have any output at all, but setting it back to master, then again to slave, then switching it off and on showed positive results. Now it's working fine and the sound quality has distinctly improved with the DAC as master.
