I would love to have your take. I posted a few months back about using Pro Audio (I know some of you loathe that term) monitors at home. I got sidetracked with other things until now.
Now I am in kind of a hurry but I have very limited opportunities to listen to what I have to choose between. Long story... I have heard ADAM A7 (a 6 inch two way and the P22A which is a 8 or 9 inch two way). Pretty nice line of monitors, I think. Those are both too small for me. The P33A is a three way using an interesting design where the second mid-woofer only comes in at 150 Hz and below. This is probably plenty large but they are not cheap. $3K. On the other hand, Blue sky has some really good reviews and they are much cheaper. They have small and smaller monitors that come in a sealed box, which I like, and they have a separate Bass module that goes down deep. I have a large room to fill (perhaps even my whole house <2200 square feet> as far as bass is concerned since there is no real seal under the bedroom/bathroom/closet doors). For the price of the ADAMs I could buy two Blue sky bass units and 5 monitors and make a 5.1 system out of it that I also listen to for audiophile two channel.
