Yep. I didn't realize that Flac transcoding was not supported on the Mac. Based on this thread, I first tried unchecking all transcoding boxes and the TP skips all Flac songs in the play list. When I uncheck Flac transcoding (which when checked must mean no transcoding in the server in this case) and leave another box checked, I get nasty noise only. So now I leave Flac/Flac checked, but have Flac/wav and Flac/mp3 unchecked.
Should I add Flac tanscoding? If so, what exactly should I install? Also, I normally use Apple lossless but now have a few Flac downloads purchased from Linn. What tool should I use to add metadata including cover art?
