I am looking for a new amp to replace my Thule Spirit Amp (60B) (which isnt working properly). My speakers are Snell D (which I will probably upgrade when I can afford something like used pair of Vienna Acoustics Beethoven, Strauss or Mahler). The Transporter by the way replaced my Thule Spirit Player. I listen mostly to classical music.
What is my pricerange? Definitely sub USD2000, more like USD 1000 (that translates to about 1300 Euro, as it seems to me, things are more expensive in Europe), although I have thought a great deal about Rogue Audio Cronus, which I am likely to be able to get a good deal on. But perhaps I should give something like NuForce IA-7 V2 or Lyngdorf SDAI2175 or even a much cheaper product like eAr 202-Ref some thought?
