This is rather interesting...oddly enough this is the sort of album I would expect to sound "rough" as a lowish-bitrate MP3... As soon as my family goes out I'll give the FLAC a play. My memory of this album is that it sounds rather good - very "live" in the sense that it is not over-polished. The simple arrangements help. I've seen TWS live (supporting Jeff Beck) and they were...much better than I expected! In fact they are one of the few "bands" whose live sound is very similar to their records.
