I have a feeling that to get firmware 33 or later you may need to go to 7.0 (now known as "SqueezeCenter" rather than Slimserver), which is officially still in beta. I've been running 7.0 for a while now, and it seems pretty stable to me. The latest version of 7.0 has TP firmware 36.
