1. Measurements are BS. Trust your own ears. - why publish measurements? - 80% of this forum should be easily ignored - the mods are not that bad as Sean paints them, since they sound better. Who cares how they measure? 2. You just don't know what to measure - why publish measurements? - 80% of this forum should be easily ignored because they are based on the wrong measurements - the mods are not that bad as Sean paints them, since they sound better and they can't be proved as badly measured because wrong things are measured 3. The results of "subjective" tests depend on the expectations, and expectations depend on the price tags. - why publish listening tests? - they published a rave review for iPod which is not an audiophile product and costs much less - why disappoint publishing measurements? 4. Ears lie. Everything sounds the same (opaqueice's point of view ;-) - iPod + mp3 is the way to go! - before doing any measurements John Atkinson should be double blinded - why publish anything? - any manufacturer who places price tags higher than $500 should be immediately sued. 5. Can't think of anything else... -- alekz ------------------------------------------------------------------------ alekz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13574 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38815 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
