Now, now, that's not QUITE my point of view. :-) Different speakers and different rooms sound very different, and so do different recordings. That's what I prefer to focus on. Mp3 is pointless (for home systems at least). I absolutely think listening tests should be done blind, and the fact that essentially none are (by pros) is very telling.
