I'm using an Onkyo TX-DS797 and I've so far connected my SB2 to it by optical cable.
I discovered yesterday that the synch function appears to be working, at least out of the box, flawlessly with analogue out (I have a SB3 connected to powered speakers in the bedroom) and not so well with digital out (I should probably configure the detailed delays that are available in SC7 but bear with me).
