The whole thing's sad, really. Remastering should mean, in my view, restoring and listening to the original master tapes, listening to the pressings from the time and working out what the artist/producer/mixer was aiming for. And then do it again, with all this fantastic new sparkly technology to make it sound better than the technology of the day allowed.
BUT INSTEAD I'VE TURNED EVERYTHING UP TO 11 AND NOW MINE'S BIGGER THAN YOURS!!!!! So I've signed up, and I'll be pointing all of my friends to this link as well. -- moley6knipe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ moley6knipe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10014 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43045 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
