I was waiting for the 24/88.2 feature and installed it as soon as it was available. Here it works flawlessly with flac files from Linn (Barb Jungr -- Every grain of sand).
The only problem I have with the new firmware is that the 'crackling' sound the Transporter made every now and then is there now quite frequently. I don't know what this sound is (it sounds mechanical, something like a fast tok tok tok tok). But that's of course a different problem; the sound of 24/88.2 flacs is perfect now.
