Ok, sorry for false posting yesterday.... I'm now on the trunk build, 7.0.1, and am running FW 40. Same album as before (I only have a small number recorded at 88.2), but this time, to confirm the sample rate, I've got a Sonic Frontiers data rate converter hooked up the the transporters Digital output. The converter has LED's to indicate the incoming data rate.
I didn't do any serious listening last night, just heard music, and noted that it wasn't playing fast or slow, so thought all was well. I guess I was actually listening to the down sampled stream like I have been in the past. So, 88.2 .wav's are now playing fine, and are indicating 88.2 on the digital output. As I mentioned earlier, I'll try flac versions later to see how they go, but first I have to encode some, all my hi res rips are wav's at the moment.
