It might be that you dont have a real ground in your outlet or that its
polluted (badly applied). 

I think for an equipment of this price its quite dangerous not to have
it grounded, any bad thing with your mains and its over.... apart from
protecting, a grounded mains by definition should provide a more stable
current and therefore better sound.

I would check this if I were you....
