While this is true literally, to say that there was no implication that both skills were in some way deficient is disengenuous. Moreover, it was a missed opportunity. Your restraint in the face of irrationality and insult, to that point in the thread, gave you an authority. Resorting to the same pettiness and covering it with sophistry throws that away.
