I got it right using a Headroom amp with DAC connected via a USB cable and feeding into a Creek integrated amp and Energy Veritas 2.1 bookshelf speakers.
The way I can tell is by listening carefully to the tambourines near the end of the clip - low bit rate mp3s tend to make things like cymbals and tambourines lose quite a bit of their sizzle and snap, in other words the sound is not as crisp as it should be. Too bad the site doesn't take things a step further and offer a lossless clip as well.
