I'd say it depends on the music you are listening to. Eurotrash: no difference (actually 24kbit sounds the best) Jazz: 192VBR or 320CBR are not enough. Listen to the decaying cymble with headphone/good speakers. Choral/orchestral works: only FLAC 24/96 is acceptable.
