I have dsp5500's , connected directly , I do have a 518 which I tried , but find that whatever setting I use , it actually changes the sonics , and not for the better , it removes the drive from the music, even in bypass (the meridian still acts on the signal in bypass) Worked much better with just the SB and a Kimber D60 digi cable. I don't actually have my SB "directly" connected right now , Im using a Z-sys RDP-1 parametric eq. When I tested the SB and my meridians , the Z-sys wasnt in the loop.
