I have just move my Arcam Alpha 7 into the living room and now have my sb3 conected via RCA.
Noticeable improvement, epspecially in base. My quandry is this, my front two speakers wharfdale diamond 9.1s are now plugged into the Arcam. I still want to use them for my front l&r channels in my 5.1 setup. As i don't watch movies as frequently as listening to audio i intend to just swap the speaker cable between the 2 amps. Is this ok to do ? Is there a more convenient method without sacrificing the quality. I eventually intend to replace the 5.1 existing amp with a soundar solution. Possibly the Yamaha 30d for it's HDMI connection. Any thoughts ? I know the true surround will be missing. -- tank121 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tank121's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17169 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46921 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
