Stick to the acoustic treatments and you will reach your goals, ignore marketing around cables, it is all a lie. Do at least one true blind test, one! You had a huge jump in quality due to the acoustic treatments, it was actually the only jump possible. Room treatments, digital room correction and blind tests are the winning combination. Unless you want your sound to vary from day to day depending what you imagine.
