Not as such, but there is a way to remap the remote keys so that the volume keys are ignored. I've done that on my own setup to ensure that the volume going to the preamp is always 100%, and so that the volume can only be controlled via the preamp. Regardless of sound quality issues, that seemed like a 'safe' option, as it is much less likely that the preamp would be turned up to a level that would damage the speakers.
