If bigfool says it sounds better, even if it is some psychological trick you think he's playing on himself , why should he semi blind test it? It's not like he's spending any money on this tweak and if he thinks it sounds better , it is a truism for him. Much like I think decoding flac on my server sounds better than decoding it at my transporter. I promise you that if you have a preconcieved notion that there are no differences , even if there are , you probably wont hear them too. I say good luck to him , if he has achieved a better sound , whichever way it may be , he reaps the rewards , why rain on his parade?
The point a lot of you miss is that sonics are percieved , the brain and ear are not scientific devices , one influences the other - the same tea tastes better out a china mug than a tin - why? Who knows , maybe there is something that his desktop or whatever is doing to the signal or the music Wewere told digital sound is perfect sound forever - that was wrong too. -- Rodney_Gold Sb3/Z-sys RDP1/meridian DSP5500's TP/X-cans v3/Senns 650's TP/TACT 2.0/SCM 50a's TP/Meridian DSP5000's "The nicest thing about smacking your head against the wall is...the feeling you get when you stop" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rodney_Gold's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14618 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49190 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
