I'm using the DAC in a Behringer DEQ2496 auto-equalizer. I'm also first upsampling the 16/44 signal from the SB3 to 24/96 with a Behringer SRC2496, then sending it to the DEQ2496 via an optical cable . This combination seems to produce surprisingly good sound. The AKM AK4393 DAC in the DEQ2496 is pretty good in my opinion.
