I think you are missing a lot from this thread. In an anechoic chamber a guitar will sound way different than in your living room or a concert hall or in a park, and even the guitar itself has its own distinct sound signature that differs from other guitars. Of course, we all have an idea of how instruments should sound, but to talk about reproduction accuracy is a bit absurd once you realize that your references are always colored by the emotion of a musical experience in a specific space and a specific condition. Actually, this imprecision or inaccuracy which is inherent every time we listen to playing instruments is one of the wonderful properties of music. Music is emotion, and emotions are always in relational shift to the many conditions at play. Transmission of emotion is what one should look for in a speaker before anything else.
