I think not, Dave. Why should I buy a recording of music that I don't
particularly like just because it's available in a high resolution
format? Perhaps if T. Bone Burnett and company would release either a
well known recording or a recording by an artist with a little more
current popularity enough people might purchase the recording to make
the record companies take notice. Or is this John Cougar Mellonballs
recording fated to end up like so many other audiophile recordings -
nice recordings featuring music.
