Anne, I know there is an integrated Bryston with DA. But I'm satisfied
with the DA in the transporter. Above that, I've listened to the BP6 2B
SST now for a day or so, and I find the difference with the Creek I have
small; too small to call it an upgrade. In fact, with some music I
prefer the sound of the Creek above the Bryston.

So this leaves the Chord and the Classé. I hope to listen to them in
the coming weeks.

There's one problem however: money. Like most people, I have limited
resources. The Chord CPM 2600 is a model that is discontinued (the CPM
2650 is the successor) and I can get one for about 4000 euro (was about
5700 a few months ago), while the Classé CAP-2100 is almost 6000 euro.
(I know these prices seem ridiculously high to Americans, but that's
the way it is here in Europe; in Germany the official price for the
Classé is even 6250 euro. While today 1 euro = 1,47 dollar!)
